LeBron James' Injury Status for Lakers vs Warriors Revealed
The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors face off in a massive game with play-in implications tonight, but some major names are listed on the injury report. One of those names is LeBron James.
LeBron James has been officially listed as questionable with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy against the Warriors tonight.
Just two games ago against the Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James missed a game due to injury. Fortunately for the Lakers, the team still figured out a way to win at the buzzer thanks to D'Angelo Russell's heroics. While LeBron James is definitely banged up, his injury seems like if it were the playoffs he'd play in every single game. In the two games that he's returned since then, James has put up 29 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds against the Timberwolves and 18 points, 9 assists, and 13 rebounds against the Sacramento Kings.
Unless Draymond Green is available, one should expect LeBron James to have a monster game against the Warriors if he plays tonight. James missed game two against the Warriors this season, but played in game one, where he put up an astonishing 36 points, 20 rebounds, and 12 assists on 56/50/100 shooting. For that reason alone, Warriors fans should be very scared of LeBron James tonight.
The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off at 8:30 p.m. EST tonight.
