LeBron James’ Injury Status vs. Golden State Warriors Revealed
The Los Angeles Lakers have officially revealed LeBron James' injury status against the Golden State Warriors for Thursday night, and the news doesn't look good for Lakers fans.
LeBron James has officially been listed as out against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday due to left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. He's also joined by Jarred Vanderbilt who is out due to a right midfoot sprain, Gabe Vincent who is out due to left knee surgery, and Christian Wood who is out due to left knee effusion.
James just played in the All-Star game, but played in extremely limited minutes. For the Warriors, this news is something they absolutely have to take advantage of. The Los Angeles Lakers are only 1.5 games ahead of the Warriors for the 9th seed, and a win here could be massive in the climb out of the play-in tournament - both teams are tied in the loss column too. As it stands, the Lakers have a 1-0 regular season series lead against the Warriors, and the tiebreaker will definitely matter between these two teams when the season is over.
Both the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors have played much-improved basketball leading into the All-Star break. The Lakers have won three straight games, while the Warriors have won 8 of their last 10 games. On Thursday night, one team will have to walk out with a loss.
