While it has been a very up and down season for the Golden State Warriors, their ability to match up with the Boston Celtics remains impressive. It feels like the Warriors have had a mental edge over Boston since the 2022 NBA Finals, which is understandable when considering how that series went.

Entering Tuesday night's game, the Celtics were tied for the best record in basketball at 20-5, while the Warriors were two games below .500 at 12-14. That said, something about this match up brings out the best in Golden State, and especially Steph Curry.

Going off down the stretch of this game, Curry poured in 20 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter or overtime, including the dagger three that put Boston away. Following that big three, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James shared this post on X (formerly known as Twitter):

With the Lakers off on Tuesday, James was tapped into TNT's double header. This exciting night of basketball began with Ja Morant's game winner in his return from suspension, and ended with Curry's dominant performance over the Celtics.

Winning his first Finals MVP award in 2022 against the Celtics, Curry seems to find another level whenever playing them. While the Warriors will need to bottle this and take into into future games, this could be a turning point for them.
