NBA Legend Gets Honest About Jordan Poole's Struggles
NBA fans were excited to see what Jordan Poole was capable of when leading his Washington Wizards team on his own. Unfortunately, instead of being the next James Harden, Poole has been more like Nick Young.
It's only been 10 games this season, but it goes without saying that Jordan Poole definitely needs to take the season more seriously. Time after time, there have been moments of Poole turning around during missed three-pointers or not paying attention during timeouts. Poole's antics have caught the eye of NBA legend Kevin Garnett.
On an episode of KG Certified, Garnett gave a very candid response to how Jordan Poole has started this season.
"I thought Jordan Poole was going to give me a lot more just showmanship, not arrogance... because the sh*t he did on Porzingis was just arrogance. I thought he thought that he was in shoot around or at the park in Summer. I was like what the f**k? Bro, he too laid back for me right now. I think he just needs to pick it up, take it a little more serious."
In all fairness, Kevin Garnett just called Jordan Poole the new James Harden in October. Garnett believes in Jordan Poole, and he's not trying to be a critic, but just expects more.
Whatever the assumptions are about Jordan Poole's game, it's important to remember that it's only been 10 games and he's only 24 years old. There's more than enough time to fix things.
