NFL Legend Makes Bold Claim About Steph Curry's Golf Game
If there's anything last week showed, it was that Steph Curry is very good at golf. He's much better than the average celebrity or NBA player, Curry was hitting hole-in-ones and winning tournaments. He legitimately shocked those who were watching - including NFL legend Rob Gronkowski.
Gronkowski went on Twitter where he gave massive praise to Curry's Golfing ability.
"Is @StephenCurry30 better then some professional golfers," Gronkowski questioned. "Could he go pro in golf if he focused on golf like basketball?? Every golf shot I have seen by him has just been amazing. Hole in ones, draining long putts…what’s your thoughts??"
While it's amazing that Steph Curry won the American Century Championship, to be better than professional golfers is a stretch to say. However, if Curry focused all of his efforts on Golf as he did in basketball would be an entirely different situation. In all honesty, given Steph Curry's ability to transcend the game of basketball the way that he did, it shouldn't be surprising if he could be a pro in Golf the same way. What separates a professional from a casual is the competitive drive, and that's something Steph Curry clearly has.
If there was any doubt before last week, Steph Curry is clearly the greatest show in the NBA right now. Wherever he goes, both a crowd and a spectacle follow. He has a way to capture fans' attention in a way that no NBA player has been able to do in the past few years.
