Shaq Reacts to Steph Curry Not Shooting in Fourth Quarter vs. Mavericks
It's still hard to believe, but somehow Steph Curry didn't attempt a single field goal in the fourth quarter - the first time in his career.
Not only that, but Steph also played the entire fourth quarter, which makes the accomplishment even more astounding. Both Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal disagreed with their reactions to Steph's struggles, but Shaq gave a very thorough answer on how he'd adjust.
"I would never question the great Steve Kerr, he's a great coach," Shaq said. "But you would think that if they're doubling your main scorer by the time he crosses half court, put the ball in someone else's hand. Draymond is usually that guy, he's not there, he can make a play. But put the ball in someone else's hand and let him come off floppy pin downs and screens. If he's going to touch the ball every time they score and bring it up, then the defense can set for him. But if the defense is going to set for him and they're letting you know they're going to set for him, maybe I think they should adjust and do something else."
The Warriors are desperately in need of some wins right now. The team has lost 7 out of the last 9 games, and are now barely clinging to the second seed. Fortunately for them, they face the Lakers tonight - a team that's struggling even more than they are.
