Steph Curry and Klay Thompson Available for Warriors Against Kings
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson didn't play against the San Antonio Spurs, but they're not listed on the injury report against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night.
Against the Spurs, Curry was listed as having a left toe soreness, but that's not listed at all against the Kings. That news couldn't be better for the Warriors, as their entire offensive system revolves around Curry.
Despite having Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, the Warriors will still be missing a plethora of players against the Sacramento Kings. The team will be missing: Andre Iguodala (hip), Nemanja Bjelica (back), Draymond Green (back), and James Wiseman (knee). Otto Potter Jr will be questionable and a game-time decision.
The Sacramento Kings are coming off of a very unexpected win just last night against the Brooklyn Nets, where they snapped their seven-game losing streak. The Kings have a few players currently injured themselves: Marvin Bagley (ankle), Terence Davis (wrist), and De'Aaron Fox (ankle).
There's still time for the Warriors to catch the Phoenix Suns as the number one seed in the Western Conference, but the Suns are on an absolute tear. The Suns are on an 11 game winning streak, and the Warriors are on a 7 game winning streak, with neither team letting up on the standings. As it stands, the Suns have a three-game lead on the Warriors.
The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings tipoff at 7:00 pm PST on February 3.
