The NBA has revealed the 2024 All-Star game starters, and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is not one of them. Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks and Shai Gilgeous-Alexnader of the Oklahoma City Thunder are the two Western Conference backcourt starters, which will push Curry to the bench once he is selected as a reserve.

When asked about this after Thursday night's loss to the Sacramento Kings, Curry said, "You got two guys that are playing amazing this year, Luka and Shai," Curry said. "I’ve been around doing this for a very long time and the fact that it’s a talking point I’m not [starting] after nine healthy years - those two guys are playing amazing and they deserve it."

Curry added, "Hopefully I’m there in [Indiana] in whatever capacity. But yeah, to still be doing it at this stage, it’s always a challenge. You don’t ever take for granted the fact that how hard it is to be recognized in that way every year."

While Curry was not named a starter, he will certainly be named to the team as a reserve, which will make it the 10th All-Star selection of his legendary NBA career. As Curry mentioned, both Doncic and Gilgeous-Alexnader are deserving starters, as the two young guards have been absolutely dominant this season for their respective teams.
