Steph Curry Reveals His Future Face of the NBA
Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James, and Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant have been dominating the NBA for the last 15-20 years. James of course entered the league first in 2003, with Durant arriving in 2007, and Curry in 2009.
While Curry, James, and Durant are each still playing at a very high level, and have shown no signs of slowing down any time soon, many are wondering who will take their place atop the league once they do finally step away. Asked this during All-Star media day, Curry named Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as three players who have what it takes to be the future face of the NBA.
"There's a lot of guys to pick from," Curry said. "Luka [Doncic], [Anthony Edwards], Shai [Gilgeous-Alexander] - guys that are really coming into their prime and are highly decorated already as All-Stars and All-NBA guys, but have a perspective of what that means within the on-court, off-court opportunities, and the doors that basketball opens in that respect. You got a lot of talent to choose from."
As Curry mentioned, there are a lot of great young players that can help the NBA transition into the post-Curry, James, Durant era, but as previously mentioned, those three are still very much superstars in this league.
