During a recent interview with BigBoyTV, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry spoke on several topics, including Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Revealing a special moment that he shared with Kobe, Curry told a great story about a compliment that has stuck with him.

"One of the best compliments I ever got, when [Kobe] recognized that killer instinct behind the smile. You know Mamba Mentality… He acknowledged that same spirit, but knew that I did it with a smile on my face, and the joy that came with it."

It was really cool to hear Curry tell this story, because that's exactly who he is. While some people are still fooled by the joy he plays with, anyone who follows him closely knows he has that killer instinct. This is something several of his current and former teammates have shared, and something Kobe clearly recognized as well.

That joy Curry plays with is also what makes him so fun to watch. Being able to dominate the game while doing it with a smile, Curry is truly one of a kind. Kobe recognized early on that Curry was special, and also recognized that his joyful approach to the game didn't take away from his killer instinct.

Sharing this special moment he had with Kobe, it clearly meant a lot to Curry to receive this compliment from the Lakers legend.
