Steph Curry's Final Status vs. Thunder Revealed
After being listed as questionable for Saturday night's game vs. the OKC Thunder, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is expected to play, per Steve Kerr.
This is a massive boost for Golden State, as they have dropped their last five games to fall below .500 at 6-7. Climbing an uphill battle for seemingly all of last season, the Warriors wanted to place an increased emphasis on starting this season the right way. Beginning the season 6-2, the Warriors looked well on their way to making that happen, but a five-game losing streak has since flipped that upside down.
Curry's injury, albeit a minor one, and now Draymond Green's suspension certainly complicated things for an already scuffling Warriors group. That said, the team recognizes it is still very early in the season, and there is certainly time to turn things around. With key players like Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson starting the year slow, some positive regression seemingly awaits the Warriors once those two begin performing up to their capabilities.
Roster questions do remain with this Warriors team, but a healthy Steph Curry fixes a lot for them, especially if his supporting cast is performing to their abilities. Looking to get back on track in this game vs. OKC, the Warriors have an opportunity to get back to the .500 mark in this one.
