Steph Curry's Final Status vs. Timberwolves Revealed
After being added to the initial injury report as questionable for Tuesday night's game vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has now been ruled out for this game with knee soreness.
This is a massive blow for the Warriors, especially with nobody else playing consistently well outside of Curry. Off to an incredible start to the season, Curry is averaging over 30 PPG, but does not have another teammate who has scored more than 20 points in a game this season.
Having lost to these same Timberwolves last game when Curry finished with 38 points, the Warriors certainly have their work cut out for them in this one. That said, the Warriors do have a few players who are due for good games, so the hope is that Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and others can step up in Curry's absence.
It's unclear if this injury will be a multi-game absence for Curry, but he is at least out for this game in Minnesota, and will be reevaluated from there. The Warriors play their next game on Thursday vs. the OKC Thunder, and will play their next four games at home.
With Curry initially being listed as questionable, the hope is that this isn't too serious of an injury, but the Warriors want to be careful with their star guard, and he is out vs. Minnesota.
