The Golden State Warriors suffered perhaps their most eye opening loss of the season on Wednesday night, getting blown out at home by the New Orleans Pelicans. While the Warriors have some very bad losses already this season, this type of showing at home, especially given where Golden State is in the standings, is as bad as it gets.

Following the game, Steph Curry was asked about the major decisions Golden State's front office might have to make between now and the trade deadline, saying, "We have a standard that's pretty evident that if things stay the same - that's the definition of insanity, right? Keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result."

Curry continued by saying the players need to control their effort and focus on a nightly basis, and not get distracted by outside noise and rumors. That said, Curry also made it clear that he understands what's going on right now with the Warriors cannot continue to go on if they want to be a serious team.

It seems clear that this Warriors roster is not good enough to compete for a championship. If that is the team's goal, which everyone states it is, then moves will almost certainly need to be made between now and the trade deadline. As Curry stated, expecting different results without any changes would be the definition of insanity.
