The Golden State Warriors are taking on the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, and they will have Steph Curry available. Curry is not listed on the injury report, meaning his is good to go for this big game.

The Warriors trail the Lakers by two games in the standings, needing to pass them and others in order to earn a spot in the Western Conference playoffs. The Warriors of course need to re-enter the play-in picture before they can climb into a playoff spot, which is looking like a challenge of its own.

While Curry is still playing at a very high level, he has had some ups and downs this season, which have been harder for the Warriors to sustain given the inconsistent production they have gotten outside of Curry. Still putting together a very solid year, averaging 26.8 PPG, Curry is the only Warriors player averaging over 18 PPG this season.

Needing to turn things around sooner rather than later, the Warriors are not where they want to be right now. While trades are likely necessary in order for Golden State to reach the level of a true contender, the roster they have right now also needs to perform better.

This game against the Lakers is a big one for the Warriors, as they look to get back on track.
