Steph Curry's Injury Status for Warriors vs. Lakers Revealed
The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers are set to face off on Saturday night in a crucial game for both teams. Golden State has released their injury report for this matchup, and Steph Curry is being listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain.
While the official listed for Curry is questionable, all signs seem to point towards him playing. Speaking with reporters in Los Angeles on Friday, Curry said the plan is to play, but added that the healing process can't be cheated, and he will need to check all of the boxes required for returning to play.
It seems likely that Curry will suit up and play in this big time game, but his official status is questionable for now. The Warriors enter this game just one game back of the Lakers in the standings, and while leaping their Pacific Division rivals doesn't change much for their positioning in the play-in tournament bracket, it would give them that first game at home.
Likley to face a win or go home situation in that 9th/10th play-in game, assuming the Warriors cannot climb to 8th or higher, having that game at home would be a big advantage for Golden State. Defeating the Lakers on Saturday night would make Golden State's path to 9th a lot more obtainable, which is why this is such a big game.
