Steph Curry's Trainer Gives Optimistic Injury Update
Nothing is more stressful for a fanbase than when their star player has an indefinite injury. Golden State Warriors fans have been waiting on terrified breath about any type of Steph Curry update, and it seems like there's a good one waiting for them.
According to Steph Curry's longtime trainer Brandon Payne, Curry's ligament & membrane damage should not be a season-ending injury.
"I don't have any fear of it being a season-ending injury," Payne said.
For those who can't remember the exact diagnosis, here's what the Warriors have classified it as.
"An MRI last night confirmed that Curry suffered partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane as well as a contusion to his lower leg."
The Golden State Warriors are on the verge of defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder and are about to go on a two-game winning streak. They have very winnable games during the next 10 games without Steph Curry against the following teams: Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, LA Clippers, and New Orleans Pelicans.
Without Steph Curry, there's a chance that the Golden State Warriors can go 7-3 in their next 10 games. Conversely, there's a chance for things to go much worse, but fortunately, the Clippers are the hardest team the Warriors face in this upcoming stretch.
