In their second-straight game without Steph Curry, the Golden State Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs to bounce back from what was a frustrating loss to San Antonio on Saturday. Speaking with reporters after the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr revealed a big Steph Curry update, saying he does not expect the star point guard to play in Golden State's next game.

"Obviously we'll reassess tomorrow, but I don't expect him to play in Dallas," Kerr said. "So we got another tough game coming up, and we needed this one. Obviously we're in a fight right now down the stretch of the season, so it's good to get the win and build some confidence without Steph, too."

Curry is doing all he can to return to the Warriors as soon as possible, but the medical staff will certainly not let him return unless he has checked all of the necessary boxes. While every game is crucial right now for the Warriors, nothing matters more than Curry's health both for the rest of this season and beyond that.

For now, the Warriors will enjoy this win, but they will soon have to refocus for their upcoming game against the Mavericks. Dallas is one of the teams the Warriors are trying to pass in the standings, making this a huge game.
