The Golden State Warriors have a lot of bad losses this season, and Monday's vs. the Memphis Grizzlies may be the worst of them all. Memphis has been decimated by injuries this season, and played this game without Steven Adams, Desmond Bane, Brandon Clarke, Jake LaRavia, Ja Morant, Derrick Rose, and Marcus Smart.

Despite Memphis being this shorthanded, the Warriors were unable to get the win, and Steve Kerr shared an honest statement after the game on why his team lost.

"We played very poorly defensively," Kerr said. "A lot of that had to do with our offense. 19 turnovers that turn into 30 points. Their game plan was pretty simple, shoot as many threes as possible and get into transition as often as possible. Then for us to foul 25 times to their 12, that's the story."

On the Grizzlies being so shorthanded, Kerr added, "All of these guys are in the NBA. We tell them that before every game like this. These guys are in the NBA for a reason, they are really good players."

Kerr said the first thing the Warriors put on the scouting report is about respecting the opponent in games like this against a team so shorthanded. Despite that level of focus entering the game, it seems the Warriors lost their way once the game began.
