While Collins does not have any NBA experience, Green has spent four years in the NBA, playing 113 games for the Chicago Bulls, and 73 games for the Boston Celtics. On the signings of Collins and Green, the Warriors wrote the following:

Unselected in the 2023 NBA Draft, Collins played with the Warriors 2023 Summer League entries in both Sacramento and Las Vegas Green (6-5, 220) played last season with the Chicago Bulls, averaging 5.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 15.0 minutes in 32 games (one start). Both Collins and Green will be with Golden State throughout the remainder of camp, and will look to make the most of this opportunity.
