Warriors Champion Reveals True Character of Steph Curry
Many people believe that Steph Curry looks like a very humble NBA player. As it turns out, that's exactly what he is, according to one of his former teammates.
Former 2018 Warriors champion Jordan Bell was a guest on the Run Your Race Podcast, where he opened up about just how humble of a human being Steph Curry truly is.
"Steph don't know he Steph," Bell said. "He don't know he's the best shooter, I'm not saying he doesn't know that, but he doesn't carry himself like that. He's a people person."
One moment that stood out to Bell more than most was the fact that when he was a rookie, Steph Curry approached Bell and got to know him - something a player that's the caliber of Curry wouldn't typically do.
"Even when I was there in the rookie year... he came up and asked me how I was and my name and all that," Bell said. "That's who Steph is. He don't know he's Steph, he thinks he's a regular person, like a regular dude that's just a respectful man... he's a great dude."
Oftentimes, it's said to never judge a book by its character. While Steph Curry looks like he's a humble man, there was no guarantee that it was the truth. Stories like Jordan Bell's are nice reaffirmations to remind NBA fans that Curry is a role model their kids are safe to admire.
