The Golden State Warriors are facing the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, and they are making an interesting decision with their starting lineup. Having brought Draymond Green off the bench for his first game back from suspension against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Warriors are sticking with that move in this game against the Hawks, once again bringing Green off the bench.

The Warriors will start Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, Dario Saric, and Kevon Looney in this game. It made sense to bring Green off the bench for his first game back after a month off, but it was somewhat unexpected for Steve Kerr to continue with Green off the bench for this game against Atlanta.

The Warriors have not played since January 15th, which is when Green first returned from suspension, as two of their games were postponed after the passing of assistant coach Dejan Milojevic.

Perhaps the Warriors still feel that Green's conditioning is not where it needs to be in order to return to his usual role as a starter and high minute player. If this is the case, it certainly makes sense to keep him on the bench until he is ready to play his full load of minutes; however, it was somewhat surprising to see him remain out of the starting lineup for this game.
