A lot has been said about Jordan Poole over the last year, as the rising star saw his play decline after being an integral piece to the Golden State Warriors' 2022 championship run. While some have lost faith in the young guard, Poole's former teammate Jonathan Kuminga shared his honest thoughts on the newest Washington Wizards acquisition, saying he's going to turn up next season:

Kuminga also showed love to both Patrick Baldwin Jr. and Ryan Rollins, who were included in the trade for Chris Paul. While the Warriors are excited to get Paul back, there are certainly some within the organization who still believe in Poole, and expect him to do great things with the Wizards.

In an interesting spot with the Warriors himself, Kuminga's name was also circulating trade rumors earlier this summer. There were some reports that the Warriors could look to package Kuminga in order to move up in the 2023 Draft, but that ultimately did not occur.

There were also some reports last season about Kuminga being less than thrilled about his minimal role, which is one of the unfortunate realities of being a lottery pick on a team that expects to contend for a title. It's unclear if the Warriors are still open to dealing Kuminga, but as of right now he remains in Golden State, and recently wished his former teammates well as they move on to Washington.
