Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul has a noted history with NBA referee Scott Foster, and that story received another chapter on Wednesday night when Paul was ejected by the longtime official. After two technical fouls in a matter of seconds, Paul was ejected by Foster, leaving the game after just 17 minutes played.

As previously mentioned, Paul and Foster have a history, with Paul's poor playoff record in games he officiates being staggering. There have also been similar moments to this one in the past, but it felt like Foster has an even quicker hook for Paul in this one, ejecting him with two very quick technical fouls.

It will be interesting to see if Foster or anyone else from the officiating crew speaks to a pool reporter about this decision, because fans have no way of knowing exactly what was said to warrant the ejection. While the broadcast showed Paul talking and pointing at Foster, it's unclear if there was anything specific he said that resulted in him being thrown out.
