Steph Curry's Status for Warriors vs. Heat Revealed
With their lead over the 11th seed Houston Rockets down to just a half-game, the Golden State Warriors will be facing the Miami Heat on Tuesday night in a very important game. Every game is important for the Warriors from here on out, but this one against Miami is a matchup the Warriors hope can serve as a turning point.
With no more margin for error, the Warriors cannot afford to continue dropping games, as the Rockets look motivated to run them down in the Western Conference standings. The Warriors have released their injury report for this game, and Steph Curry is not listed, meaning, he is available to play.
The story after Golden State’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves was Curry’s minutes, as Steve Kerr played him just under 30 total minutes in that game. Kerr said after the game that the Warriors are trying to keep Curry right around 30 minutes, but Curry himself admitted that he is ready and capable to play more if needed.
It will be interesting to see how long the Warriors stick with this limit for Curry, because as previously mentioned, their margin for error has completely evaporated with Houston’s late season push up the standings.
This game against Miami is a big one, as is every game for Golden State at this point.
