The Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks are set to face off in a crucial game for both teams on Tuesday night. The Warriors have released their injury report for this game, and Steph Curry is not listed, meaning he is available to play.

While Golden State's chances of catching Dallas in the Western Conference standings are very slim, they could certainly make that a much stronger possibility with two wins over the Mavericks in their next two meetings. These two teams face off twice this week, and currently have five games of separation between them in the standings. As previously mentioned, even if Golden State wins both of these games, their chance of catching the Mavericks is still very small. That said, Golden State has their sights set on moving up as far in the standings as possible, which of course includes several other teams outside of Dallas.

The Mavericks are also looking to optimize their seeding, entering this game as the 5th seed in the Western Conference. A seven-game winning streak has put Dallas in a much better spot than they were just a few weeks ago, but they are still not entirely clear of the play-in tournament, sitting just 1.5 games above the 7th seed.

A lot rides on every game for Golden State and Dallas from here on out, which should make their matchup on Tuesday an exciting one.
