Golden State Warriors star Andrew Wiggins did not play in the fourth quarter of Thursday night's win over the Houston Rockets. Following the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Wiggins tweaked his ankle, which is why he did not play in the final frame.

While Wiggins has been up and down for the Warriors this season from a production standpoint, Golden State needs the best version of him going forward if they are going to make any noise in the postseason.

This win for the Warriors essentially clinches their spot in the postseason. While the Rockets are not yet mathematically eliminated from postseason contention, they are very unlikely to catch the Warriors for 10th. Golden State is almost certain to finish in the play-in tournament, and they will spend the last two weeks of the season trying to climb as high up the standings as they can.

Holding off a late-season surge from Houston, the Warriors have shown some real toughness throughout this recent win streak, as they were under real pressure from a streaking Rockets team. Winning their way to a playoff spot in the play-in tournament will be difficult for Golden State, especially when considering the teams they are likely to face, but this is a group that is entering the postseason with a lot of confidence and momentum.
