Oftentimes in life, many people tend to take a trip down memory lane. That trip can bring smiles to faces and warmth to the heart. Those moments are thought of as the good old days. While there are many times and moments that the Washington Wizards can take the trip down memory lane to, let's just reflect on the time the Wizards acquired Jordan Poole.

Why The Wizards Robbed The Warriors

The Wizards were able to trade away Chris Paul alone while they acquired Jordan Poole, Patrick Baldiwn Jr, Ryan Rollins, a first round draft pick, and a second round draft pick as well. That is quite the haul for just one player alone. What makes the trade great is the fact that Chris Paul is 38 years old while Jordan Poole isn't even 25 yet.

As the Warrior's season ended, Chris Paul was already asked if this was the end of the road for him. Paul stated he is returning for his 20th season next season. He doesn't have long before he hangs the laces up anytime he is getting asked a question like that.

Chris Paul has dealt with a lot of injuries throughout the season this year. He only appeared in just 58 games for the Warriors as the injuries got the best of him. What makes matters worst is the fact that he played a career-low 26 minutes per game this season as well.

On the other hand, Jordan Poole proved his worth and value as he appeared in 78 games this season for the Wizards. Two of those games were decisions made by the coaching staff to avoid injury as the Wizards were already eliminated from the playoffs. Additionally, Jordan Poole played a career-high 30.1 minutes per game this season.

It is no question that the Washington Wizards robbed the Golden State Warriors within this trade. Jordan Poole has proved to be the better, more reliable, and more explosive player this season. Additionally, getting some draft capital for upcoming NBA Drafts truly works in the Wizard's favor.
