Tonight, Wizards guard Jordan Poole returns to the Bay Area to face his former team the Golden State Warriors. This was a game that many had circled on their calendars. Given Poole’s last season there, who knows if he was looking forward to this game or dreading it. Either way, the day is here and it remains to be seen how Poole will perform on his old home court.

One piece that will be missing on the Golden State Warriors side is Draymond Green. Everyone knows by now about Green's memorable lights out punch he landed on Poole during an intense practice. Perhaps his missing presence, due to his suspension, will make the homecoming a bit easier for Poole.

It will be interesting to see how Poole is received by his former teammates and the Warriors crowd.

Last night, the Wizards were able to come away with a road win against the Portland Trail Blazers. That one was a tough one for the Wizards to maintain and tonight will be even more tough for the team.

Poole has had his share of struggles offensively and keeping the basketball secure with his new team. In recent games, the guard is showcasing more of what the team was hoping he would bring to the Wizards which is a good sign that things are trending upwards for him.
