The Inside The Wizards Staff predicted a Wizards win against the Portland Trail Blazers. So far, the Wizards are on point and appear to want the win as they are off to a strong start at the Moda Center. Here are some of the first half highlights; which there are plenty for the Wizards so far in this game.

Washington Wizards vs. Portland Trail Blazers Game Predictions (12-21-23)

Within the first two minutes of the game the Wizards had three steals. Two of those were attributed to Wizards center Daniel Gafford and the other one to forward Kyle Kuzma.

The Wizards led by as many as 16 points in the first quarter. Largely because of Kyle Kuzma who had a dominant offensive performance in the first half. Kuzma had 14 points in game’s first ten minutes and would close the half out with 18 points.

Wizards forward Deni Avdija is making an impact on both sides of the ball with nine points, six rebounds, and four assists. Guard Jordan Poole, forward Corey Kispert and Gafford all have nine points.

Wizards guard Tyus Jones continues to be on a roll with his efficient play shooting 4-of-5 and has ten points.

Team shooting at 53% from the field.

So far rookie Bilal Coulibaly is in foul trouble early with two quick fouls obtained in the first quarter.

The key will be to see if the Wizards can keep the hot hands and stay aggressive on defense. If so, this is certainly one that the Wizards can take on the road.
