In the first game back from the NBA All-Star break the Wizards travel to take on the reigning NBA champions.

This is the second matchup of the season after the Nuggets took the first game in Washington 113-104.
It has been a long and dark February for the Wizards who are now 0-7 on the month and on an eight-game losing streak.
The gauntlet of a February schedule includes five more games against teams with a winning percentage over .500.

Even though the record doesn't show it, Washington has improved drastically since interim head coach Brian Keefe took over.
Their rebounding and defense have both improved and they have been competitive in a lot of the games.
Coming off his huge 43-point game before the All-Star break, it will be interesting to see how Washington forward Deni Avdija is used and how effective he is.

But this Denver team is extremely good and they're even better at home.
The Wizards will keep it close for stretches of the game but eventually you will see the Nuggets pull away and cover the -15.5-point spread.
