Washington Wizards vs. Golden State Warriors Game Predictions (12-22-23)

Inside The Wizards staff gives you their predictions and analysis for the game against the Golden State Warriors.

The Washington Wizards (5-22) are on the road to face the (13-14) Golden State Warriors at Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Tip-off is at 10:00 p.m. E.S.T.

A huge win last night for the Wizards give them some momentum heading into the last game of this road trip against the Warriors.

READ MORE: Jordan Poole Returns to Golden State

Tonight, is the only national television game for Washington for the year, at least that is scheduled for now.

There is a huge headline coming into tonight as Washington guard Jordan Poole makes his first return back to Golden State.

Poole struggled in the win against the Portland Trail Blazers but has been performing well lately.

No Warriors forward Draymond Green due to his suspension does take some hype off Poole's return.

Let's see how the Inside The Wizards staff views the game tonight.

Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole (13) brings the ball up court against the Brooklyn Nets during the third quarter at Barclays Center.

Gage Sheets: Warriors 124 Wizards 112

It got really sketchy again last night as Washington almost blew another huge lead but eventually held on.

If they get a big lead against Golden State, they better not let it get close because it won't end the same.

No offense to the Blazers but they don't have the closers that the Warriors do.

It may be close for a little but eventually Golden State will go on a run and pull away.

Darrell Owens: Warriors 145 Wizards 130

The Washington Wizards (5-22) are facing the Golden State Warriors (13-14) in the final game of a four-game West Coast road trip. This game will be the first of two matchups between Golden State and Washington this season. The Wizards won Thursday against the Portland Trailblazers 118-117.

In tonight‘s game, I’m not sure if the Wizards will be able to contain Steph Curry tonight. Coming off of a victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, where they gave up at 18 point lead. They won’t be able to do that tonight against Curry and the Warriors. I expect Steph Curry to have a 40-point night and cruise to a 15-point victory 145-130. I also think that Jordan Poole will probably have his best game of the season for reasons we all know.
