The Washington Wizards (11-54) are on the road to face the Houston Rockets (30-35) at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Tip-off is at 8:00 p.m. E.S.T.

This is the first of two matchups of the season between the Wizards and Rockets.

Houston is 4-1 in their last five games despite losing their center Alperen Şengün to an injury.

This Rockets team is one of the most improved teams this year after the offseason additions of guard Fred VanVleet and new head coach Ime Udoka.

Other player to miss tonight's game is Washington center Richaun Holmes and Houston rookie forward Cam Whitmore.

The Wizards have been playing better as of late, but their last time out was probably their worse loss of the season when they dropped a game at the Memphis Grizzlies.

Let's see how the Inside The Wizards staff views the game tonight.

As mentioned above, this Houston squad has improved significantly this season and even without their most improved player candidate in Şengün they are still a considerable threat.

The Rockets energy output on defense is extremely high just like coach Udoka likes it and they will be tough to score on.

Why The Wizards May Win Tonight

Not to mention they are much better at home in Houston then on the road, so Washington has a much better shot of pulling off game two of this series back at home.

It is going to be hard for the Wizards to get enough baskets tonight and the Rockets will cover at home.
