This is the second game of a back-to-back for the Wizards as they lost 102-94 to the Brooklyn Nets last night.

Keep an eye out on the status of Washington center Daniel Gafford even though he was cleared to play as he only played in 5 minutes after his thumb injury including missing the entire fourth quarter.

Gage Sheets: Raptors 109 Wizards 98 (Prediction Record: 4-2)

Washington had a five-point lead with four minutes left against the Nets but unraveled down the stretch and ended up losing by 8.

The Raptors rebound the ball well and play good defense.

Two things the Wizards don't do well, but I think they will be able to force Toronto to turn the ball over a bit and keep things close for a good stretch of the game.

If Washington does want to pull off the upset, they need to force turnovers, play fast and shoot well from three-point range.

David Harrison: Raptors 110 Wizards 102

We haven’t seen Washington play even a quarter of the season yet but in some areas, there are already signs of growth.

However, in others there is not. Specifically, that nobody behind center Daniel Gafford is getting any taller.

Combine the projected rebounding and rim presence disparity and the fact the Wizards are playing a back-to-back after losing guard Delon Wright while Toronto is coming in with rest and looks to be getting healthier, and I just don’t see how this doesn’t go down in the loss column.
