Which Kings Player Do The Wizards Need To Focus On Tonight?
The Sacramento Kings are one of the league’s up and coming teams in the NBA. In fact, the Kings are who the Wizards are hoping they can model their success for in the next years to come. For a little over a decade, the Kings were the laughingstock of the NBA. They couldn’t win and had failed to make the playoffs for 16 consecutive seasons. Now, they have accumulated a good amount of young talent as they are still hoping to improve their team even more through the trade market. The Kings are set to play the Washington Wizards tonight in Sactown. Will the Wizards pose a threat tonight?

The Bottom Line
This game in Sacramento won’t be an easy game by any means tonight for the Washington Wizards. Usually, when you think of the Kings, you assume it’s an easy win tonight. However, those times have changed. They really changed last year when the Kings acquired Domantas Sabonis from the Indiana Pacers. It may have been hard to give up Tyrese Haliburton, but Sabonis has helped this team take strides they wouldn’t have taken if it wasn’t for him. As much as we love to talk about De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis is the glue to this team. He literally does a little bit of everything. He stuffs the stat sheet and the Kings rely on him for a number of things, especially rebounds. Daniel Gafford is the only true and reliable big man the Wizards have. When he plays well, the Wizards are simply a better team and have a better chance at winning. His play in tonight’s game will be critical for the Wizards tonight as he will be in charge of the player of focus, Domantas Sabonis. If Danny Gafford and company can keep Sabonis off the boards, limit his playmaking abilities, and force him to having an off shooting night, then they will have a good chance tonight at getting another victory, especially if Fox isn’t able to play due to a shoulder injury.
