At this point of the season, basketball can be hard to watch at times. Many teams are gearing up for the playoffs to make a run at the trophy. On the other side, some teams are simply waiting for the regular season to end. No matter what, both teams are at the point where they’re not at full strength. The Wizards are really suffering with that as rookie Bilal Coulibaly is now out for the season. The Wizards will probably be without Kyle Kuzma as well in this game as he deals with a shoulder injury. This game should be all about Jordan Poole!

The Bottom Line

This season is approaching its conclusion. At this point, the Washington Wizards appear to be wounded and checked out as their injury report is as long as it’s been all season. One player who is ready and expected to play is Jordan Poole. This season has been very different from what he has been accustomed to years prior with the Golden State Warriors. He certainly has seen his fair share of struggles this year. However, tonight he gets a chance to get back into his usual self by having an increased volume of the work load as all of the Wizards starters are not expected to play. The backcourt of the Rockets (Fred Van Fleet / Jalen Green) doesn’t play much defense. Jordan Poole should look like the Jordan Poole of old tonight and may even put on a career night for the hometown fans of D.C. If the Wizards want to win, Poole must play well as he is their last resort at this point.
