Wizards Hoping To Steal A Game In New Orleans Tonight /

The show on the road continues tonight for the Washington Wizards. Their schedule has been brutal these last few weeks and the results are showing it too. The Wizards have failed to win a single game all month. They have had the opportunity to do so against teams missing important pieces too. The Philadelphia 76ers were without Joel Embiid and the Dallas Mavericks were without Dereck Lively. Trading Daniel Gafford hasn’t helped them take advantage of those situations. The Wizards will be faced with yet another opportunity to take advantage of a key player not being available as Zion Williamson continues to deal with a foot injury. He is listed as a game time decision tonight.

The Bottom Line

As much as we worry about slowing down Zion Williamson if he is able to go, the real problem to worry about is Brandon Ingram. He got robbed of the NBA Allstar Game this season. He is a nightmare matchup. Coming out of college, he was compared to Kevin Durant. Those comparisons came true as he is one of those players that you hope has a bad night when trying to defend him. This matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans will be a tricky one. They may be in sixth place in the West, however they’re still in first place in their Southwest Division. Tonight could be a long night for the Wizards if they don’t get off to a good start.
