Washington Wizards vs. Charlotte Hornets Game Predictions
The Washington Wizards (2-5) host the Charlotte Hornets (2-5) at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM EST.
Now on the Wizards second game of this home-and-home with the Hornets they will look to win their second game in a row.
Washington defeated Charlotte 132-116 snapping a four-game losing streak.
This game is the Wizards second group game of the in-season tournament, they lost to the Miami Heat in their first game, and the first at home.
Let's see how the Inside the Wizards staff see this game going.
Gage Sheets: Wizards 122 Hornets 115 (Prediction Record 3-1)
I picked against Washington on Wednesday and they proved me wrong. I still have trouble with them being out-rebounded. However, I underestimated the factor of Charlotte guard Terry Rozier being out and outside of guard LaMelo Ball they don't have a ton of options. The Wizards need to keep the rebounding battle close, get clutch defensive stops and they should have just enough offensive firepower to win.
Darrell Owens: Wizards 128 Hornets 124 (Prediction Record 2-0)
The Washington Wizards (2-5) are facing the Charlotte Hornets (2-5) in their third home game of the season . This game will be the second of four matchups between Charlotte and Washington this season. The Wizards won Wednesday night against the Charlotte Hornets 132-116 and look to see more of the same from Wednesday.
Kyle Kuzma went off with 33 points in another solid performance against the Hornets. Jordan Poole only scored 11 points but I expect more from in this second match-up. We will see a very competitive performance tonight from both teams with it being an In-Season tournament game. LaMelo Ball will have a triple-double that's my “Bold” prediction. Expect a fun one tonight from Capital One Arena.
