The Washington Wizards (2-11) hit the road to play the Charlotte Hornets (4-9) at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM EST.

This is already the third of four regular season matchups between the Wizards and Hornets.

Washington Wizards Lead Folds, Charlotte Hornets Get The Win

So far, the series is split at one win a piece.

This game is different though, as Charlotte just got what could be looked at as a momentum shifting win against the Boston Celtics.

Not to mention they just added forward Miles Bridges back to the roster.

While Washington has now lost six straight games.

Let's see how the Inside the Wizards staff views the game tonight.

Gage Sheets: Hornets 134 Wizards 127 (Prediction Record: 8-2)

It is going to be a close game but eventually stars will rise to the top and the Hornets have one in guard LaMelo Ball.

Unless Washington finds a way to slowdown Ball, they will have a tough time winning.

Maybe they can stop ball by starting and having guard Bilal Coulibaly play defense on him, but until that lineup change is made, we have to assume that's not the case.

Carita Parks: Hornets 127, Wizards 120

The Wizards and Hornets always keep it close so we can expect that again tonight. However, the addition of Miles Bridges back into the lineup for Charlotte is going to be a difference maker. We already saw him help his team get a clutch win over the Celtics. Bridges has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. I can see that being a huge challenge for the Wizards to overcome.

On the otherhand, the Wizards stuck around much closer than anticipated against the Milwaukee Bucks. But the game unraveled when the rotation that included Kyle Kuzma, Tyus Jones, and Corey Kispert changed. They still have a chance with Charlotte but Wes Unseld Jr. cannot sit Tyus Jones for the entire 4th quarter if they want to get the win. Jordan Poole will also need another 30-point performance to keep the Wizards in the game.

This is really anyone's matchup to win. It's going to come down to who wants it more.
