The All Star break is over and the Wizards season continues with a loss to the Denver Nuggets 130-110. Despite an increase to the “L” column, there are some highlights to note.

Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma totaled a game-high 31 points (12-25 FG, 6-8 3PT), a team-high 12 rebounds, three assists and a season-high-tying three steals in 31 minutes of action for his team-leading 10th double-double of the season. Kuzma becomes the first Wizard to compile 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and 3+ steals in a single game since Bradley Beal did so on Jan. 13, 2019.

Kuzma has now scored 20+ points in 33 total games this season, including in four of his last five outings and in three straight contests and his six offensive rebounds ties a career high.

Washington guard Tyus Jones notched 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-5 3PT), a team-best 14 assists and two rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season and the 25th double-double of his career.

Jones has now recorded a double-double in three straight games for the first time in his career. Additionally, Jones has now dished out double figure assists in eight total games on the campaign, including in three straight games for the first time in his career.

Washington forward Corey Kispert scored 12 points (4-11 FG, 3-5 3PT), three assists, two rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes from off the bench. Kispert has now topped 10+ points 33 times this season, including in seven of his last nine outings from off the bench.

Wizards guard Jordan Poole tallied 18 points (3-9 3PT), two steals, one rebound and one assist from off the bench. Poole (700) reached 700 made three-pointers for his career in last night’s game.
