Wizards Return Back To Action Tonight In Denver
After a nice yet short lived break from basketball, the Washington Wizards will return to action tonight as they will be in Denver taking on the defending NBA Champion Nuggets. This certainly isn’t an ease back in to the return to the regular season. The Wizards will look to try to get things rolling again, particularly for Jordan Poole. The rest of the team has been playing well all season long. Two individuals in particular in particular have been on fire, Corey Kispert and Deni Avdija. The plan is to get Poole rolling with the rest of the squad for the second half of the season.

The Bottom Line
At this point of the season, the Wizards are in a very difficult spot to be in. The odds of them being a playoff team or even a play in tournament team are slim to none. However, it is still important to try to figure things out now, particularly with Jordan Poole. They also want to win some games to keep the fanbase interested too. On the other side of things, getting the number one pick and tanking at this point isn’t a horrible idea either as they need some help for next season too. Playing the defending champions doesn’t help the situation here at all for the Wizards as they return from the NBA All-Star Break. Tonight is all about Nikola Jokic. We know everything goes through him. They need to make him a scorer and try their best to eliminate the complimentary pieces for them. That will also include Jamal Murray. If the Wizards force Jokic to be a scorer in tonight’s game, that may be their best shot at a win tonight in Denver.
