Wizards Visiting Brooklyn Tonight
The Washington Wizards will take their show on the road tonight as they are visiting Brooklyn to take on the Nets. This Nets team have dealt with their fair share on injuries all season long, particularly Ben Simmons who has been a guy for them who does whatever needs to be done. He doesn’t necessarily look to score. Rather, he looks to help the team score rather it’s a screen, pass, or even a defensive play that leads to a easy fastbreak score. With or without Ben Simmons, the Nets play together and most importantly, they play defense. This will be a good test for the Wizards after nearly escaping with a victory against Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bottom Line
Tonight is a game that will be won from the coach’s corner. It is Wes Unseld Jr. versus Jacque Vaughn. The Nets are simply a bad matchup for the Wizards. Their entire starting five is a defensive powerhouse, specifically within their front court. Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson both defend the perimeter at a very efficient rate. Nic Claxton doesn’t allow anyone to get any easy buckets at the rim either. The Wizards are going to have to play with pace and play smart. They will need to play together as a team and draw up some plays to break down this Brooklyn Nets defense. They also should look to exploit Cam Thomas as he is their weakest link defensively in the starting five. If Jordan Poole can play tonight, he will need to be aggressive early and have a big night for the Wizards to come out with a victory tonight in Brooklyn.
