Ex-Washington Wizards guard John Wall is currently a free agent after being waived by the Houston Rockets and hasn't played in an NBA game since January 2023.

When Wall was with the Wizards, he was a five-time all-star, and he set two franchise records in steals and assist.

Of course, he also had an all-star teammate in guard Bradley Beal.

In those years they had some talented teams but had some crushing second-round playoff defeats.

Wall ended up dealing with some bad injuries and was traded in December of 2020 after not rarely playing for a few years in Washington.

Fast forward to today, after an off-season trade of Beal from the Wizards to the Phoenix Suns he still had yet to make his debut due to a back injury.

Wall was on the Run It Back show on FanDuel TV and was asked by Shams Charania about Beal with the Suns.

"Just getting on the court, most importantly throughout the league is staying healthy," Wall said about Beal and Phoenix. "Just seeing how they gel together."

It's well known that Wall wants to get back into the league and he is only 33 years old, but even when he is not injured and, on the court, he isn't the same explosive player he used to be due to those injuries.

But there are teams that are in need of a point guard and Wall, when healthy, is definitely still serviceable.

One of those teams in need is the Suns who don't have a true point man and have been rotating different guys in and out of that role.

"Me and Brad are still brothers," Wall said about a possible reunion. "If I could join their team for sure I would love that."

Wall is always working hard, and it would be cool to see them playing together again but Phoenix is doubtful to sign him.

If Phoenix does go for a true point guard it will probably be someone else like guard Goran Dragic through free agency who is a better three-point shooter then Wall or someone through a trade.
