After the roster shakeup this past summer, not only is the fanbase a little numb on the future of the team, but the entire world is. Let’s face it! Everyone loves to see Superstars. Often times, many people come out to games in person to see stars play. They also enjoy celebrities at the games too. Last year, we got to see Bradley Beal a lot as well as Kristaps Porzingis. That brought attention and relevancy to the Washington Wizards. We also got to see after game performances by Rick Ross, Ludacris, and JaRule as well. It was almost like a party having all star players and high ranked music celebrities as well performing.

This season, the Washington Wizards are low in both the NBA Power Rankings as well as teams of interest to watch on league pass and even in person. Losing Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis plays a major role in these rankings. What can the Wizards do to make this team relevant and significant again?

1. Make A Star, Form A Dynasty

Before the Golden State Warriors became one of the NBA’s richest and most successful franchises, they were just an interesting team. Baron Davis was running the show there. The emergence of Steph Curry and how he has changed the game of basketball has elevated that franchise tremendously. If Jordan Poole can play as electrifying as Steph Curry plays, making tough shots every time down the floor, that can really change things in Washington. People love to see players put on a show. What Jordan Poole did in just the preseason against the Knicks could and should he a nightly thing for the Wizards.

2. Make Games Great Again

Bringing in Rick Ross, Ludacris, and Jarule certainly was a game changer for the Wizards. When you have performers such as them, no one wants to miss that. Everyone is tuned in at that point. The Wizards should do well in bringing in more star studded halftime performers. It almost reminds you of the Max hit series “Winning Time.” It was a party every game that was hosted at the Staples Center. The Wizards should have that same vision for Capital One Arena.

3. Win, In Fashion

The NBA is all about the three point shot. This Wizards team has a plethora of three point shooters. They need to play high tempo basketball and let it fly beyond the ark. That is the key to success in the NBA. If the Wizards can do that, they would certainly be more competitive and give teams fits when they have to play against them.
