One of the best feelings in the world is being able to stay healthy physically in any sport, especially the NBA. Unlike other sports, the NBA uses a lot of load management unfortunately which has helped and contributed to the results of having healthy players for the duration of the entire NBA Season.

Wizards Forward Danilo Gallinari is one player who has benefited from the provision of rest. At age 35, the fact of the matter is that it is strongly recommended by doctors and trainers because the body just doesn’t recover quickly as it did once before. There are a handful of games where Danilo Gallinari didn’t play where they labeled him being out due to “rest”.

He isn’t a franchise player anymore at this stage of his career. However, he still is highly dependable, highly coveted, and highly value despite this being close to the end of his career. With that being said, now is the perfect time to trade him if you’re running the show for the Washington Wizards.

Danilo Gallinari is a player who happens to get hurt quite a bit. He has had quite a few unfortunate injuries throughout his career. Those rest days for the Wizards have been a blessing in disguise not only for him but for the Wizards too. He could get hurt any day and any minute to be honest. You just never know with any player, especially Gallinari. Moving him now will give the Wizards some value in return as he can still play the game at a very high level.

His natural ability to shoot the three ball offers him tremendous trade value. Another key part about his game is that he doesn’t necessarily need the ball in his hands to be effective. He is good on the pick and pop, pick and roll, and simply cutting to the basket and posting up as well. Danilo Gallinari fits in perfectly everywhere due to his skillset. While he is healthy, the Wizards will do well to move off of him as soon as possible.
