Johnny Davis: Unleashed
There’s a saying that goes “Patience is a virtue.” Often times in life, when we want something, we want it at that very moment. We don’t consider what we can do to get something or even how we can get something. We sometimes don’t even consider when we can get what we want.
The moment we all have been waiting for has finally arrived. Johnny Davis was a standout guard who played as Wisconsin for the Badgers. He was a player who could get his own shot and had the ability to do so whenever he wanted to.
During his time in the NBA, things have gone a bit slow as far as his development and production goes. Last night, Johnny had his best game as a pro as he scored 20 points, five rebounds, four assists, to go along with two blocks, two steals, and two three pointers as well. He literally filled the stat sheet and was easily the best player on the Wizards last night vs. the Milwaukee Bucks. He even dunked on one of the best defenders in the entire league last night in Jrue Holiday!
It appears the Wizards are finally giving Johnny Davis the green light and seeing what and who he can truly be as the Wizards inch closer to closing out their season. He was drafted number ten overall for a reason and it showed. Johnny led the team in minutes in that game. This is certainly a good sign to see. I think it’s safe to say that we can expect to see a lot more of Johnny Davis early and often next season.
