Washington Wizards Statement:
Guard Johnny Davis sprained his left elbow during Sunday’s (10-15-23) practice. The injury will be treated conservatively and his return to play prognosis will be evaluated weekly through clinical and functional testing. He is expected to miss one to two weeks.

The Wizards still have high expectations for Johnny Davis he led the team in minutes in the first preseason game against Cairns Taipans with 22 minutes (9 points) and was second to rookie guard Bilal Coulibaly with 26 minutes in last Thursday's game vs. Hornets (13 points).
It’s showing the Wizards want to give him more time on the floor to continue his development and being sidelined for the next week or two, will put a small dent into the development for now.
