With all of the drama stories surrounding Jordan Poole and his Golden State departure, was it ever mentioned that he has quite the sense of humor?

Earlier this week, the Wizards posted a little over two-minute clip of Jordan Poole mic’d up on this year’s Media Day. When Poole entered his Media Day presser jovial and speaking to everyone, there was a bit of knowing at that moment his fun demeanor. The mic’d up video starts and Kyle Kuzma is laughing and that’s when viewers should have known they were in for a treat with a sneak peak of the day from Poole’s perspective.

About eight seconds in Poole says “All this sauce coming to DC; talking about mambo sauce.” Mambo sauce, referring to a very popular sauce based out of the DC area, is something Poole even referenced in his Media Day presser as trying to find when he was familiarizing himself to the area.

Perhaps it was the part of the video where Poole was checking out the competition for best mustache when looking at a picture of Washington Capitals goaltender, Charlie Lindgren, and comparing it to his own “handlebar mustache” situation. Or maybe it was when he asked Kuzma if that was his “model face” while Kuzma was taking his Media Day photos.

It’s also very important to note that the other language Jordan Poole speaks other than English is “Buckets” and if you’re nice in Mortal Kombat you need to drop your username.

It’s a fun watch and gives a bit of insight into Poole’s interaction with his teammates.
