Three Wizards Questions Finally Answered

And it didn't take long to get the answers
Three Wizards Questions Finally Answered
Three Wizards Questions Finally Answered /
In this story:

Long before Ted Leonsis shook the table by firing longtime Wizards’ executive Tommy Sheppard, there were three consistently asked questions leading to the offseason:

1) In his first super max year, did Bradley Beal do enough to remain the leader of the Washington Wizards?

2) Kristaps Porzingis had an incredible year with the Wizards. What will be the ultimate decision between the Wizards and Kristaps Porzingis?

3) Similar to Porzingis, Kyle Kuzma also had an incredible year. What will be the ultimate decision between the Wizards and Kyle Kuzma?

Bradley Beal was traded to the Phoenix Suns so that answers question #1.

Kristaps Porzingis was traded to the Boston Celtics so that answers question #2.

Then we all awaited the answer to question #3.

The Wizards new executive leadership team made it no secret that they had full control of the roster and a rebuild process was in place. They were able to move Beal even with his massive contract and no trade clause along with Jordan Goodwin and Isaiah Todd. Then they moved on from Porzingis which could then make anyone easily believe that Kyle Kuzma was well on his way to sign with another team.

Free agency frenzy starts and would you look at that…..

The Wizards and Kyle Kuzma threw a curve ball with that one. Not to say that anyone is unhappy about this decision. This is great news for all parties involved. Kuzma gets paid, Wizards have their next leader, and DC Sports fans are hopefully seeing the very strategic nature in which the franchise is moving forward.
