There was once a famous coach in the NFL who went on the record to say “We play to win the game!” That statement went viral. In any sport, the goal is to win as much as you can by any means necessary. Everyone will have different roles in the end of winning. One player will always be “The Guy.” Another player will always be the sidekick. Batman always needed Robin rather he will admit it or not. In winning, you will always need your backups and help to the help as well. Batman also had Knightwing, Batgirl, and most importantly Alfred. The reserves coming off the bench in any sport as well as the coaching staff are very important too.

Both Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole are former NBA Champions. They won playing a role that is very much different from the role they now have today. In LA with the Lakers, Kyle Kuzma was asked to play a role similar to the role he played last season with the Wizards. Jordan Poole was playing a role of a reserve who was heavily depended upon. Now in Washington with the Wizards, their roles are now promoted to being a captain and co-pilot to this ship.

Having experience of winning on the highest stage of the game helps the Wizards out tremendously. The heart of a champion has a strong effect on an individual. It’s similar to having some good food. Once you get a taste of something tasty, you always want more. Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole will be hungry to have a the role of leading this team to a championship. In the end, the Wizards have the right guys as Captain and Co-Pilot here in Washington.
