This Trade Made Everything Worth It

Life without Bradley Beal started off a bit rough and shaky for the Washington Wizards. The deal for Bradley Beal included Chris Paul who was mainly included to match Bradley Beal’s contract. The addition of Landry Shamet was a win for the Wizards because he has proven to be one of the league’s most lethal and effective shot makers particularly beyond the ark. The beauty of his game is the fact that he doesn’t need to have the ball in his hand as he is good on the catch and shoot. However, Chris Paul didn’t really make sense for the Wizards as they shipped him off to a deal that many of us didn’t expect at all!

This is the trade that made everything worth it. Indeed, it has been a long week following all of the Wizard deals. A lot of them were some head scratchers. However, this deal makes all the sense in the world and it offers a lot of hope and clarity for the future. Now, the Wizards have a franchise cornerstone piece who they can build around!

One can say that Jordan Poole was being held back with the Warriors. There was no other option as he was playing behind Klay Thompson who has proven to be one of the best players in NBA History as well as shooters to ever play the game. Jordan Poole has always been a player that many feel that if he was given the opportunity to play more minutes, he could be an All Star in the league. Poole will be given the green light in Washington and we can expect him to take the league by storm now as the Wizards will look to build around him now. The Wizards easily won this trade as they have found the player they have been looking for simply by giving up a player who is on his way out through retirement soon in Chris Paul.
